This is a series of blogs and tutorials about how to host your own version of Open-Source Software (FOSS) which are alternatives for paid services and propriety software. Here I will be posting all my experiences in deploying various services that I Selfhosted for my daily usage.

What is Self-Hosting?

The concept in which you host your own applications, data, and more. Taking away the "unknown" factor in how your data is managed and stored provides those with the willingness to learn and the mind to take control of their data without losing the functionality of services they otherwise use frequently.

Get Started from https://www.reddit.com/r/selfhosted/, a popular Reddit thread where most people post or ask questions about self-hosted apps and software.

These are the services that I self-host using some of the free-tier cloud and a Raspberry Pi 4 B+ 8GB. I will showcase how to deploy these for your usage as well upcoming new threading app which might be useful for you.

This show on Spotify https://selfhosted.show/ is the real inspiration for me to get started in self-hosting and https://www.jeffgeerling.com/ for deploying and experimenting with DevOps in raspberry pi.
